Login Instructions
Enter your recovery email and password into the login form. Complete the CAPTCHA and click the Login button.
Checking off Remember Me will keep you logged in for up to 30 days. Do NOT select this option on a shared device!
If you forget your password, click the Forgot Password? link and follow the instructions to receive a new temporary password by email.
Dashboard Navigation
The dashboard is divided into collapsible sections. Click on each summary to expand for more details.
You can update your contact info, activate new TapCard luggage tags, and manage your existing tags anytime.
TapCard Activation
To activate a new TapCard luggage tag while logged in, enter the activation key (in the format 0000-0000-0000-0000
) and click Activate.
If the key is valid and unused, it will be permanently linked to your account and recovery email.
After activation, your tag will display the contact information and custom messages you have set in your dashboard when scanned.
Reminder: Tags can only be activated once and cannot be transferred to other accounts after activation.
Updating Your Information
Update your recovery email (for login and password resets), contact information, and your account password in the My Info section.
Always click the Save My Info button after making changes.
Managing Your TapCards
In the My TapCards section, you can:
Update your airline tracking link (if available).
Change the name or note associated with each tag to help identify your luggage.
Switch your tag’s status between On Track and Missing depending on whether your bag is safe or lost.
Update your custom recovery message, which will be displayed when someone scans your tag if it's marked missing.
If a tag is lost or permanently damaged, you can delete it from your account. Warning: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone!
Marking a Tag as Missing
If your luggage goes missing, immediately mark the associated tag as Missing from the My TapCards section.
When a tag is set to Missing, anyone scanning it will see your custom recovery instructions and any contact information you provided.
You can update your missing message anytime to give specific return instructions.
Logging Out
To log out of your dashboard, scroll to the bottom of any page and click the Logout button.
